Free Agent Forum

Registration is due February 1st; you must create a member profile and pay your $5 annual membership fee in order to register. Register as soon as possible, as prices are set to increase automatically!

League Format:

For the Spring 2020 League Season, the Power Division will adopt the Bring Your Own Team Format. All players must sign up as part of a team or to be considered as a free agent for addition to an existing team. All players must have an LSVA rating of Power or Power+ in order to be eligible for the Spring 2020 Power Division League Season. See our Evaluation Guidelines for details.

Teams:

Captains must email their complete team rosters to membership@lonestarvolleyball.org by Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 at 5PM. All teams must have either 6 or 7 players who are registered and paid. Teams may recruit Free Agents on the Free Agent Forum. Each player is liable for their own fee. Players who have not registered and paid by February 6th may have their spot on the team forfeited which may be given to an available free agent. If a team does not have the needed number of players and a free agent is needed, they must notify the Division Officer at the time of team composition submission. The Division Officer will work with the team captain and free agents to find the best fit.

Free Agents:

Any player who has paid and registered for the season but does not appear on a submitted roster will be considered a Free Agent. Players may post on the Free Agent Forum and on our Facebook Group to be picked up by a team. Every effort will be made to place a Free Agent on a Spring 2020 League team. 

Skill Ratings

All players receive an official skill rating before league starts. New members must either attend an Evaluation Clinic or have a Preliminary Rating of Power+; if you have not yet attended a clinic, you may register for the "Pre-Rating" event and you will be moved in to the proper division after you attend an Evaluation Clinic. Evaluation Clinics are posted on the Skills and Development page; if you are unable to make any of the clinics please send a message to skills@lonestarvolleyball.org.

Prices

The base cost of our Fall League season is $85 - here are our discounts:

• Several fantastic early bird rates - Register ASAP to lock in your rate as supply is limited.
• Registering to play in multiple divisions (Advanced or Power + Masters or Recreational) and save $20 (email treasurer@lonestarvolleyball.org to receive discount). In order to register again, go back in to the event and select "New Registration."
